The most-watched movie on Prime Video worldwide is still the romantic comedy “Red, White & Royal Blue,” but another movie tops the list in the US. Discover more.

While another movie has taken the top spot in the United States for at least two days this week, “Red, White & Royal Blue,” starring Taylor Zakhar and Nicholas Galitzine, continues to hold the title of the most-watched movie on Prime Video globally.

Due to its depiction of an incredible true-life story, this particular film had been the subject of intense anticipation for the whole year. Notably, it was also Ray Liotta’s last performance, which added to the frenzy. In the end, the movie made more than $89 million, exceeding its production budget of $30–35 million.

However, this comedy received a generally mixed bag of reviews from the critics. With 67% of the 316 reviews from critics being favourable, Rotten Tomatoes reflects this opinion. While many people admired the absurdity of several sequences, others criticised the performances and the storyline.
